Good news!  Sophie visited the surgeon again, and the hole in her mouth has sealed!  We are so glad for her, as she has come so very far.  Two surgeries later, she can now start eating on her own vs. being hand fed.  To boot, Doc even said that 6wks from the surgery date she could start eating dry kibble vs. canned food.  This is huge progress for her, and we are so excited.  Thank you to Renee and her family for all of their daily efforts with feedings, post operative care, and so much more.  They have been super!

As you can see, Sophie obviously feels better.  She made a point of jumping in the car, in the middle of the groceries, with the hopes of going for a car ride!  Such a silly girl!
