Abraham came home today after undergoinghis heartworm treatment.  He is snoozing well in the living room, appropriately confined to his crate for the next 3 1/2 weeks.  I always hate that I cannot explain to them why they have to stay in the crate, but at least I can provide him with lots of kisses and treats!  They said he was very, very good for his treatment and stay at the hospital, and when he came out to meet me, he smiled, kissed, and rolled over on his back for a back dance and belly rub.  I still can’t get over how handsome he is now that he’s gained weight and received proper nutrition…he is absolutely stunning!  He’s a good boy and will make someone very happy some day.

I added a new page to the site…or have begun adding a new page that will be viewable soon.  It’s simply a showing of some of our success stories that were a little more intense…like Maleah.  I thought it a good educational tool for those who may peruse the site, hoping that it will help them see that just because there’s a problem, it doesn’t mean you can’t overcome it.  All it takes is a little love and commitment.  Keep on the outlook, as it will hopefully be on in the next couple of days!

Only one heartworm treatment to go, and that’s for Preston.  Hopefully I can get that done soon.  I tend to worry about the length of time it’s been, courtesy of both other animal’s ailments and my own.  However, we’ll get him treated and he’ll be ready to go to his new home…he’s such an incredible love…and an overgrown baby! 😉

I hope everyone has a great weekend!
